It's best if you can do your beekeeping tasks without gloves. Gloves tend to stick to hive parts and such, making your movements difficult and awkward and causing the bees to be more defensive. That being said, you will want and/or need to use gloves from time to time, depending on the circumstances. These gloves are made from soft, manageable leather (except "Ladies" size, which are made from goatskin), have 100% cotton uppers and are very popular. A double thickness of leather in the palms of the gloves will outlast any other leather glove available. They provide excellent protection, and ventilation just above the wrist, which is quite nice to have on hot summer days.
